Getting There

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, the Lakeside food, wine and music festival calls the picturesque Sydney International Regatta Centre (SIRC) home.
You’ll be travelling to ‘Gate A, Old Castlereigh Rd, Castlereigh 2749’ to land at Lakeside .
  • Shuttle
  • Ride Share
  • Taxi
  • Parking
In 2020, we’ve partnered with Busways once again to bring you shuttle buses too and from Penrith Trains Station (Thornton Estate Side), and Penrith Panthers League’s Club. Stay tuned for timetable and announcements to come!
Remember to respect your bus driver on our transport provider. Terms and Condition apply, with a zero tolerance policy in play from the moment you mount out bus transport.

We’re pairing up with ride share providers such as Uber and Ola. Look for the beacon when targeting the ’Gate A, Old Castlereigh Rd, Castlereigh 2749' or 'Sydney International Regatta Centre’ to secure the correct drop off point.

Ask your driver to send you to the ’Gate A, Old Castlereigh Rd, Castlereigh 2749' or 'Sydney International Regatta Centre’ - signage will direct them to the appropriate drop off point.
Onsite parking is a plenty here at the SIRC - with pricing starting at $20 per car.

No, Lakeside is a fully licensed event. We’re confident you’ll find something hand selected for you on site.

Our team has been busy curating the finest in local and international cuisines. Let’s leave the food prep to the experts!

Lakeside is an all weather event – rain, hail or shine the show must go on. We’ve co-ordinated a strong all weather plan to ensure all safety issues are mitigated pre-event.

Unfortunately not – we work really hard to provide enough shade and seating for everyone

Unfortunately this is an 18+, human only festival. As much as we’d love to have your Rugrats and Pups, this is a fully licenced event. We want to ensure everyone at Lakeside has the best time possible.

Yourself, your ticket and a can do attitude. We advise you bring adequate protection from the sun (we’re known to have some stinkers our west) and bring a picnic rug to sit on. Everything else is covered here at Lakeside.

The Lakeside food, wine and music festival runs from 12pm – 8pm on the 2nd of May 2020. Bars will begin closing at 5pm with the final bar closing at 5.30pm. No entry permitted after 5pm.

We do not provide refunds for any tickets you may have purchased. You can review our full T’s and C’s here.

Lakeside provides compete disabled access to all areas of the site.

As people of the people, we do not discriminate. Beer, wine, cider and spirits will be available throughout the day. Oh and if you’re off the sauce there will be plenty of water and soft drink to purchase.

You’ll be able to sign up for our great activations like Pinot & Picasso and Helicopter Rides at the Information Desk on site – like all good things, it’s first in best dressed. No pre bookings will be taken at this stage.

Entertainment line up will be posted on both the ticketing page via Eventbrite, the website and the Facebook Event listing when it’s completely confirmed!

Please check out our FAQs, as we may have already answered your question. However, if you still cannot find your answer, please fill out the contact form below and we will be happy to respond asap

Lakeside Long Lunch

COVID-19 Announcement

Due to the ongoing health risks surrounding the outbreak of COVID-19, we must sadly confirm that the Lakeside Long Lunch 2020 will be rescheduled (yet again)to a new date in 2021.Though this is an extremely tough decision to make – we always take the health and safety of our guests, staff, vendors and artists extremely seriously.

As we move closer to our new date on October 3rd, we’ve had to be much more realistic in our assessment of the situation at hand. We’ve made every effort to stay optimistic and move forward as planned but the ever-changing restrictions and the fear of ‘second wave’ ramifcations indicate that we simply cannot host the fun-filled, wine-drinking, booty shaking event that we’ve promised all our ticket holders to enjoy in 2020.

The Lakeside Long Lunch 2021 will now take place on Saturday the 24th of April (did someone say ANZAC Day Long Weekend!?) and guarantee the same great entertainment, great food and wine in the same great day out down by the lakes at the Sydney International Regatta Centre. We can also happily confirm, we’ve secured Sneaky Sound System and Thirsty Merc to join Shannon Noll, Voli K, Suite Az and Top Shelf to consolidate the Lakeside Long Lunch entertainment line-up for this year. All tickets from our previous 2 dates will be valid come event day.

As small business owners, we are encouraging ticket holders to #keepyourticket if it is at all possible, and help keep the events industry alive. By not requesting a refund and holding onto your ticket, you will not only be supporting the artists and vendors at our event but the hospitality workers, support staff and small businesses who work tirelessly behind the scenes to bring you so much entertainment and enjoyment at events just like the LLL.

We thank you for your patience and continued support. We look forward to having a vino and a boogie at Lakeside 2021 when it rolls around on

April 24th!
